This raises the question of why so many Christians, especially in the United States, feel obligated to support the modern Israeli government. Many point to Genesis 12:3, where God tells Abraham, 

“I will bless those who bless you, I will curse anyone who treats you with contempt, and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

Candace’s critics often accuse her of seeking fame or money, but Scripture reminds us:

“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” - Proverbs 16:18  

If her motives were rooted in pride alone, Scripture teaches that it would eventually expose her.

Traoré has publicly stated that he wants unity between Muslims and Christians, and many believers have praised him for his leadership. Some even say he carries a “Jesus-like” aura because of his passion for justice and national restoration.

When the 1960s hit, the Black community went through a spiritual earthquake. As single motherhood skyrocketed, something else quietly slipped out the back door: Black men.

Right now, Haiti has no president.

Gangs control the streets.

Millions face hunger and extreme poverty.

The nation feels abandoned.

But Scripture reminds us:

“With God all things are possible.” - Matthew 19:26

Ethiopia’s story shows the power of holding onto Christ. When nations, movements, or ideologies try to replace God, destruction follows. But when leaders cling to God, even in exile, restoration comes.
